Our commitment
North American Coating Solutions wants this website to be usable by everyone, including
visitors who use a screen reader, a keyboard on its own, magnification, or high
contrast settings. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not as a
plugin bolted on afterwards.
Standard we build to
This site is built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1,
Level AA. It has not been independently audited, so we do not claim full
conformance. If you find something that does not meet that standard, tell us and
we will fix it.
What is built in
- This toolbar: text size, letter spacing, line height and content scale.
- Contrast, invert, greyscale, saturation, dark and light modes.
- Reading guide and reading mask, both usable by keyboard as well as pointer.
- Stop animations, mute sounds, hide images, larger cursors.
- Profiles for visual impairment, dyslexia, ADHD focus and seizure safety.
- A skip link, one H1 per page, and headings in order.
- Visible focus on every interactive control, and touch targets of at least 48 pixels.
- Alternative text on images, and labels on every form field.
- Your settings are saved in this browser and re-applied on your next visit.
Keyboard shortcuts
Alt + A opens
and closes this toolbar. Alt +
R resets every setting.
Esc closes whichever panel is open.
Known limitations
Content supplied by third parties, such as embedded maps and review widgets, is
outside our control and may not meet the same standard. Where that happens, the
same information is available by phone or through the contact form.
