• Part B of a Two-Part Copper Stain Removal System – PROSOCO® Sure Klean® Copper Stain Remover is a special two-part cleaning system designed to remove copper stains from masonry surfaces — Part B is the clear, colorless liquid additive that is mixed on-site with Part A (dry powder) into a poultice for brush or trowel application over the stained surface.
• Activates the Poultice to Pull Stains Out – Combines with Part A to create the active poultice that solubilizes deep-seated copper sulfate stains and draws the staining elements out of the masonry and into the poultice mix — the spent poultice is then scraped from the surface and the masonry cleaned with a water wash, lifting stains that surface cleaners simply cannot reach.
• Will Not Etch or Harm Masonry – The complete two-part system does not etch or otherwise harm the masonry surface — safe to use on brick, limestone, sandstone, and other masonry substrates where aggressive acid cleaners would damage the stone. The poultice approach pulls the stain out rather than burning it off the surface.
• No Special Tools or Equipment Required – Once mixed with Part A, the poultice can be applied with standard plasterer's trowels and brushes — no specialty tooling required. Appropriate for use with PROSOCO's OverCoat temporary protective paper film for controlled, contained applications on vertical and overhead masonry surfaces.
• 3-Year Shelf Life & VOC Compliant – 3-year shelf life in tightly sealed, unopened containers — keeps in inventory until needed. Surface and air temperatures should be at least 50°F (10°C) during application, and the product is compliant with all national, state, and district VOC regulations. The go-to remedy for stubborn copper drip stains from flashing, gutters, downspouts, and weathered architectural copper.
